Sometimes there are moments in life that startle you with their beauty.
This was one of them. I remember as I stood on the ferry, watching Mull fade into the distance that there was no way I could translate the majestic splendor of the scene through a camera lens. And I was right, the grandeur of this picture is one iota of the exquisiteness of actually being there. (Don’t moments like this make you wonder what heaven will be like?) The mist on the mountains, the sailboat reflecting the sun, the large, fluffy clouds, the silhouette of the castle. I took several pictures of the same scene, but nothing even begins to translate the magnificence of that view.
All I can do is share the best of the pictures I took. (I encourage you to click on it to enlarge to get a better view.)
