A HILLTOP CASTLE ON CASTLE HILL

We rode by Stirling Castle, a place that has a lot of importance in Scottish history including the crowning of Mary, Queen of Scots.  Also the castle is by Stirling Bridge where William Wallace fought for Scotland. The castle is actually built on a volcanic crag and is surrounded on three sides by rocky cliffs making it true fortress.

The picture, once again, was taken out of a bus window.
