In His hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for He made it …Psalm 95:4-5

As we drove, we talked. Cindy had traveled with the Continentals for four summers, so she told me about their tours. (And now I can also say I traveled with the Continentals – well, make that ONE Continental.)

Then gradually we moved beyond the marine layer — and the ocean and the mountains stretched out before us in an unbelievable vista of God’s magnificent creation. Every curve in the road unveiled another stunning view. How many pictures did I need to take? Seemed like every turn offered countless photo ops.

But then we once again found ourselves in the “fog,” (although you are not supposed to call it fog). Yet, even the marine layer can be awe-inspiring.

So, since a picture is worth a thousands words – here are some pictures of the drive.

      1. pictures never do it justice!!! i remember taking pictures of the unbelievable mountains in utah and then looking at the pictures…..pretty, but you had to be there to really SEE it for what it was. i cant even imagine what that place looked like in person
